A Voice That Brings Calm and a Smile

Each of us has, at some point, experienced a silence that weighs heavily.
Days when there is no one to confide in, when even an ordinary human word is missing.

The Voláme Srdcem project was created precisely for these moments — so that the phone rings and, on the other end, there is someone who truly cares.

Our operators call people who feel alone. They talk about everyday things — nature, gardening, cooking, animals, favorite TV shows, memories, and small joys of the day.

The conversations are carried out with lightness and natural warmth. We do not discuss politics, religion, or topics that could feel burdensome — our goal is to bring calm, comfort, and genuine human connection.

Every conversation is different, but they all share one thing — humanity.

It only takes a few minutes for a smile to be heard in the voices on both sides. Many of our clients say they look forward to their calls as if they were a visit from a good friend.

The Voláme Srdcem project has received the patronage of the Governor of the Karlovy Vary Region, Mgr. Jana Mračková Vildumetzová, and the support of the Plzeň Region, which helps develop initiatives focused on intergenerational connection and the prevention of loneliness.

When Someone Cannot Afford a Conversation

Interest in the calls is growing, along with the number of seniors who need them most but whose financial situation does not allow it.

It was precisely from this need that the Voláme Srdcem Foundation for Joy was born — to ensure that hearing a kind voice and a human word is not a matter of money.

The foundation supports seniors who remain alone, have very limited contact with others, or, as is often the case, no contact at all. It also helps other people who feel lonely and miss an ordinary human conversation.

Through donations, we cover calls for those who cannot afford them themselves, and thanks to the support of donors, we can continue a mission that truly matters — bringing closeness, understanding, and the reassuring feeling that someone is thinking of them. Every gift brings a moment of calm, certainty, and joy into the life of a real person.

A Society Where People Listen to One Another Again

Loneliness is one of the greatest challenges of our time, especially in older age.

Many seniors remain alone, without daily contact, even though they wish to talk to someone, share experiences, or simply chat about small things.

Our goal is for Voláme Srdcem calls to be accessible to all seniors who need to hear a friendly voice and know that someone cares.

We continue to expand cooperation with municipalities, social services, and organizations that support people in isolation.

Our aim is to help create a society where people listen to one another again — where it is natural to ask, "How are you today?"
